Service Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms

Invoice Reference

Please use your invoice number as the payment reference.

Payment

All services must be paid in full prior to work commencing unless otherwise arranged in writing. Pricing is based on the service package or agreed fixed amount, not hourly rate.

Suspension or Cancellation of Service

Kingdom Kleaning reserves the right to suspend or cancel services without notice for unpaid invoices. Continued non-payment may result in account termination (“three strikes” policy) and referral to debt collection.

Workmanship Warranty

  • Standard cleaning services (Commercial Cleaning – Schools) include an 18-hour workmanship warranty from completion.

  • For mould remediation, the warranty is 72 hours (see Section 9).

  • Claims must be reported within these periods with timestamped photographic evidence.

  • If inspected by a third party before our team leaves site, Kingdom Kleaning holds no further liability.

  • A call-out fee applies for post-warranty returns.

2. Quotes & Estimates

All quotes are estimates only, valid for 14 days and subject to change due to variations in scope, materials, travel, or site conditions.
A written quote must be approved prior to service commencement.

An on-site quote fee of $165 applies unless otherwise agreed. Where a site inspection is declined, work will proceed based on the approved written estimate.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Standard cancellation: 2 weeks’ notice required.

  • Same-day cancellation (< 24 hrs): Full service fee applies.

  • Emergency exemptions: Considered case-by-case (e.g., medical or family emergencies).

  • Company-initiated cancellations: If Kingdom Kleaning cancels within 24 hours, your next service will be half price.

Repeated cancellations may result in suspension of services.

4. Billing and Fees

  • Payment due on the day of service (or as per invoice terms).
  • Late fees may apply after 7 days ($132 penalty):
    • 7 days: +2.5% on top of service price
    • 14 days: +10% on top of service price
    • 30-60 days +15% on top of service price
  • Key pickup fee: $55 (if required).
  • Minimum on-site charge: $165 incl GST.

Unpaid debts may be referred to collection with recovery costs added.

    5. Customer Responsibilities

    Before We Arrive

    Please ensure:

    • Your invoice has been paid in full (unless otherwise arranged).
    • Power and water are available.
    • The service area is tidy and accessible (we focus on cleaning, not decluttering).
    • Pets are secured.
    • Any known hazards (e.g., cracked glass, faulty power points) are disclosed.
    • For mould work, you understand the health risks of mould and the scope of services (see Section 9)

    After Service Completion

    • Inspect work within the applicable warranty timeframe.

    • Any concerns must be submitted within this period.

    • Once approved or inspected before our departure, no further liability applies.

      6. Right to Refuse Service

      We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw service where:

      • Staff or contractors feel unsafe or disrespected.

      • Animals pose a threat.

      • Work conditions are unsanitary or unsafe.

      • The customer fails to disclose illness within the premises.

      Full service fees will still apply where our team is required to leave due to such conditions.

      7. Service-Specific Terms

      • Standard mould cleaning quotes cover “clean and kill” treatment only, not stain removal.

      • If you wish to remove staining, a secondary treatment or repaint may be required (available upon request).

      • 72-hour warranty applies from completion. Time-stamped photos should be collected as evidence for any warranty claims.

      • We are not liable for mould returning if:

        • Environmental recommendations (e.g., ventilation, humidity control) are not followed.

        • The full remediation process was not completed.

      • Travel charges may apply outside Gunnedah.

      • Payment due prior to service delivery unless approved otherwise.

      • All staff working in school or childcare environments hold Working with Children Checks and follow Safe Work Australia guidelines.
      • Services are scheduled to avoid disruption during school hours unless otherwise arranged.
      • The client must ensure safe access, site induction (if required), and notification of any sensitive areas or materials.
      • Liability is limited to the cleaning services performed. We are not responsible for security alarms or unattended premises outside agreed hours.
        • We will document site conditions using timestamped photos/videos before and after cleaning.

        • Kingdom Kleaning is not liable for pre-existing damage to surfaces (e.g., flaking paint, loose render, worn grout, oxidised metal).

        • Clients must inform us of fragile materials or painted surfaces that may be affected by high-pressure water.

        • Once the site is inspected and approved by the client upon completion, no liability is accepted for later claims of damage or marks.

        • Clients must provide site induction access, safety briefings, and adhere to PPE and WHS standards.
        • Work may be postponed or cancelled where access or conditions breach Safe Work Australia regulations.
        • Due to the hazardous and high-traffic nature of sites, Kingdom Kleaning is not responsible for consequential losses due to equipment downtime or external factors outside our control.
          • Add-on services such as carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and spot treatments can be booked as standalone services or in addition to another package.

          • Clients must advise of any delicate fibres, pre-existing stains, colour variations, or previous chemical treatments before work commences.

          • Kingdom Kleaning will perform testing and assessment where possible, but cannot guarantee complete stain removal when staining is permanent, chemical, or has penetrated backing materials.

          • Moisture and ventilation requirements will be discussed prior to completion. Clients are responsible for allowing adequate drying time and airflow before re-using treated areas or replacing furniture.

          • We are not liable for shrinkage, colour bleeding, pile distortion, or damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, improper installation, hidden defects, or incompatible materials.

          • Where appropriate, timestamped before-and-after photos will be taken for quality assurance and record-keeping.

          • Once the service has been inspected and accepted on completion, no further liability will be accepted for subsequent concerns.

            8. Damage, Breakage & Liability

            • We carry full Public Liability Insurance.

            • Clients must report any issues within 18 hours (standard) or 72 hours (mould).

            • We are not liable for minor wear, pre-existing damage, or deterioration of fragile items during normal cleaning.

            • Any act of theft or malicious damage is treated as the responsibility of the individual, not the company as a whole.

              9. Property Photos & Videos

              By engaging our services, you consent to our team taking timestamped photos/videos before and after cleaning for:

              • Proof of service completion

              • Quality assurance

              • Training and marketing purposes

              No identifiable personal content will be used publicly.

              10. Pets

              • Pets must be secured for the duration of our service.
              • We do not handle pet waste and will not be held liable for pets escaping or being unsupervised during cleaning.

              11. Equipment and Supplies

              • We use our own tested and approved cleaning products and equipment.
              • Clients must provide access to running water and electricity.
              • For hygiene reasons, please provide your own toilet brushes for each bathroom or purchase them from us.

              12. Non-Solicitation

              Clients agree not to solicit, employ, or contract directly with any Kingdom Kleaning staff for a minimum of 12 months following the completion of services.

              13. Intellectual Property

              All branding, materials, systems, and service models of Kingdom Kleaning are protected intellectual property. Copying or imitation of our business methods is prohibited.
