How to achieve effective treatment of mould & Mould Testing
The effective treatment of mould consists of 4 key parts:
1. Inspection & Reporting
In this process we do an onsite inspection, doing a comprehensive report on our findings, we use thermal imaging and use a moisture meter to pinpoint problem areas, we do an extensive inspection and report to provide a range of recommendations and professional advice.
2. Testing
In this process, we test for mould, its severity, spore count per Cm2, and determine type of mould, this helps with determining whether the premise needs heavy remediation or light remediation, or none at all depending on lab results. We have 3 testing methods depending on the requirements
1. Surface testing using sticky strips
2. Swab testing
3. Air Quality testing
3. Kill Mould
The treatment of Mould spores with our 24-hour diffusing process. This process kills surface and airborne mould spores. More time may be required if mould is severe, or for larger areas.
4. The Clean
Removes any dead mould spores which is harmful if left in place and is an important part of the process to reset the building to a neutral environment, as even dead mould spores are still toxic.
