Working together not fighting each other

Working together not fighting each other

One thing I would like to see is agents & cleaners working together, not fighting each other.

It’s also a reason I did a blog post on property managers doing bond cleaning as a condition for employment.

Speaking with another cleaner a few days back, to see his pain also, and that he is struggling with the same issues, it really makes me wonder if real estates want to keep good cleaners around for the long term. When I see this, I see that he has a passion for the industry and is genuine.

Likewise, we are also. If you have had a look at our website and social media pages, you will see a lot of content. That’s not for likes and clicks; it’s to help everyone, even other cleaners. That’s right, my passion and calling are business and helping others no matter who they are. If it helps make their business better and grow, then I have done what I set out to do.

It’s prideful and arrogant for cleaners or an agent for that matter, to think highly of yourself more than you ought to, think you know more than the next person, or a cleaner who specializes in bond cleaning is foolish and most likely will have cleaners not do any work for you again.

That might be a bit direct, but I hope you take something from it. I myself have fallen into that trap a few times, but in reality, I don’t know everything about cleaning. But I have taken every clean as a new opportunity to learn, even if we don’t have to go back to a house to fix items.

The cleaning industry will never survive if there is in-house fighting going on, undercutting, and dog shooting each other.

Work together, not fight each other.
